Boi Xochi (they/them) is an East Los Angeles-born alternative soul-folk artist who has been playing in the LA Music scene since they were 16. Boi Xochi is using their music to break free from the limitations of the binaries of life and process all kinds of grief. This is all while embracing the nostalgia that is often paired with coming out to yourself later in life, leaning into the anti-folk, classic rock and emo styles their inner kid loves. Boi released their first single, "Permanent", a friend-breakup song. When not writing and playing music, they love watching anime, spending time with their friends, hiking, and nerding out over interesting historical facts and their implications.
