“Bongsu” is an indie band from Damansara, Malaysia, formed in late 2023, consisting of Iman (vocalist & guitarist), Umardun (guitarist), and Zariff (bassist).
Named after the term “Anak Bongsu” (the youngest child in the family), "Bongsu" captures the perspective of being the youngest, often underestimated but full of untold stories, dreams, and a fresh outlook on the world. Being the youngest doesn’t mean lacking knowledge, instead it’s about embracing unique experiences, learning from those around you, and seeing the world through a different lens.
Bongsu aims to spread positivity, kindness, and create genuine connections with listeners, reminding everyone that everyone has something valuable to share.
