Borja Olalla

Borja Olalla, singer-songwriter and guitarist from Barcelona makes country music abroad. His style breathes country sounds mixed with blues, rock and indie folk. His songs are his essence and each verse his opening to the world. His first steps were with the single "My own voice" that talks about the reticence when one is different. In Spain country music does not have the same value as in the United States and sometimes this is a barrier, but the love that Borja feels for this music makes him not give up and keep going, because the commitment is big and strong. His next step is in the year 2022 when he publishes the Ep “Songs from a dusty road vol.1” in which stands out the song “Desert Rose” a tribute to the great Emmylou Harris. One of the things that has filled Borja the most has been a couple of singles “La Carena” and “Sense Rumb” two of the few country music songs written in Catalan, his mother tongue. However, Borja feels more comfortable with English when it comes to composing and this 2024 he has released the second part of "Songs from a dusty road".
His guideline when creating is to make Raw country music, to keep its essence.
