Dave Boston and Naomi Fenwick are the Boston Duo, an acoustic guitar father/daughter duo from New Zealand. They have been performing around Hawkes Bay and abroad for over 20 years and released 4 albums . Boston Duo play instrumental arrangements of both their originals and popular covers adding in their unique flavor. Their music is recorded together live in the studio with improvised solos. Boston Duo play a mixture of styles including jazz, classical, reggae, folk, contemporary. Their sound has been described as energetic, beautiful, soothing, rhythmic with a New Zealand flavor. Influences include: Rodrigo y Gabriela, Tommy Emmanuel, Mark Knoffler, The Beatles, Django Reinhardt, Bireli Lagrene, Eric Clapton to name a few.
Naomi also writes children’s music called Little Songs for Little Ones and sings originals under her maiden name Naomi Boston. Dave also writes jazz under the Boston Tea Party.
