Bowski Island is the music project of Patrik Jakubowski Arnold, a guitarist and songwriter from Gotland, the beautiful island in the Baltic Sea. With a background as a classically trained guitarist, his playing has gradually evolved towards writing and producing his own material. He is currently in the process of writing more music to be released this year, while also exploring and experimenting with new ideas alongside other creators.
Bowski Island's music is primarily based on acoustic guitar and vocals, combined with acoustic percussion and electronic elements. As an educated biologist working with the Baltic Sea, Patrik draws inspiration from the ocean and nature, which permeates both his sound and storytelling.
In addition to his solo project, Patrik is also a member of the band Riddarna, a Swedish punk trio with melodic and psychedelic influences. The band is also in the process of creating new music, which will be released shortly.
