Boylexxy

Ayomide Alex Olanipekun, better known as Boylexxy, is a Nigerian-American singer born in Lagos, Nigeria. He has always had a love for music, but his music career truly began in 2019 after an impromptu session in the studio with his friends in the house, leading him to release his first official single “Belinda” which the beat was found on YouTube. Then followed up with impressive production credits on Peruzzi Change Your Style which made it to his album Rum n Boogie
Although Boylexxy was born in Lagos, he lived his early young age there in Agege and schooled in Iju-Ishaga, Fagba. which he credits as the major influence to his afrobeats music style; a blend of Afrobeats, R&B and dancehall elements, which is a sub-genre of music known as “Afrovibe”. though he moved to the United states at the age of 14 he still decided to hold onto his afrobeat sound and pursued his music career when he moved to Atlanta. His career began growing rapidly. Boylexxy had the opportunity of working with the likes of his fellow Nigerian artists Peruzzi and music producers like Shizzi, Phantom and Crackermallo. This led him to make songs like “Bobo” and “Dangerous”.
