On End Things, released September 2024 (Nö Records), boylotion are musically inspired by derivatives of early post-punk, like goth rock, dark wave and shoegaze. Isak's big voice naturally pierce through cold machine drums, Amund’s forwardly pumping bass, and Maximillian’s dreamy shoegaze guitars. But what also defines them as a band on this track is the precise use of perfectly counterpointing melodies, creating perfect sad pop, and making you dance. End Things was produced by Robert Jønnum (Kristi Brud, Kings of Convenience, St. Thomas), who also play synth on this track. They will start recording their debut album in October 2024, scheduled for release in fall 2025.
