Belgian rap and R&B star Brahim first came to prominence as a television performer, making appearances on Belgium's version of Pop Idol, and eventually -- in 2008 -- he was featured in the preliminary rounds of the Eurosong Contest, with the song "What I Like About You." In the course of his career, he would release a handful of hit albums and singles in his native Belgium, such as the 2005 single "Didi," included on the Najaha album released the following year. In 2008, an updated and matured Brahim took his sound to a more diverse level, releasing the hit full-length Evolution, which saw him move away from rap and embrace a more "grown-up" R&B sound. ~ Chris True, Rovi
