Listeners of Canadian music will have stumbled upon the creative handiwork of Nova Scotia-based artist, Breagh Isabel. She has written for and performed on the records of artists like Ria Mae, Donovan Woods and BANNERS. “Good News,” the latest Billboard Top 40 chart-climbing single by Juno Award-winning rapper, Classified, was co-written by Breagh and features her signature smoky vocal.
In recent years Breagh completed a production mentorship in Nashville, TN, before being selected as one of eight female producers across Canada for the Music Publishers Canada’s 2020 Women in the Studio Accelerator Program. In late 2020, Breagh signed a publishing deal with Concord Music Publishing. Her foray into composing and writing for film and television has led to her writing, performing, and producing songs that have landed syncs in Grey’s Anatomy, FBI (CBS), Selling Sunset: Orange County (Netflix), Batwoman (The CW), Good Trouble (Hulu) and many more
Breagh’s years spent developing as a songwriter, producer, and recording artist have inspired a project of her own. Her debut EP will be released in 2025.
