Brendan Canning, singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and founding member of Canadian indie rock supergroup <a href="spotify:artist:7lOJ7WXyopaxri0dbOiZkd">Broken Social Scene</a> (BSS), has recorded under numerous tent poles, including stints in <a href="spotify:artist:3L7txC8S6o0X0mNOtLwew6">By Divine Right</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:4nvedshascUEzY3In1aQjv">hHead</a>, and also as a solo performer. His solo debut for the Broken Social Scene Presents series, Something for All of Us..., was released in summer 2008 on the group's independent <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Arts+%26+Crafts%22">Arts & Crafts</a> label. It was followed in 2013 by the Draper Street/SQE-issued You Gots 2 Chill. Canning later returned to record for <a href="spotify:artist:7lOJ7WXyopaxri0dbOiZkd">BSS</a>' longtime label <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Arts+%2B+Crafts%22">Arts + Crafts</a>, where he enlisted several of his former bandmates to join him on his third solo LP, 2016's Home Wrecking Years. ~ James Christopher Monger, Rovi
