The Norwegian prog rock trio Bresk consists of Peder Narum (drums) together with his father Lars Christian Narum (Hellbillies, Narum, Heigh Chief, Nickels and Dimes) on keys and uncle Jon Anders Narum (Narum, Nickels and Dimes, Espen Lind) on bass, who both have more than three decades of experience from the Norwegian band scene.
Inspired by the prog classics "The Six Wives of Henry VIII" by Rick Wakeman and Bo Hansson's "Lord of the Rings", the trio has made a concept album about the painter Peder Balke's dramatic life. The album "A Journey Through the Life of Peder Balke 1804-1887" was released on January 28, 2022, digitally and on vinyl.
