Attorneys turned musicians Lud Creary (guitar) and Doc Martin (lead vocals) bring elements of R&B, Soul, Hip Hop, Rock and Jazz to Brownsuede's self titled EP. Songs off this EP were produced by Otis Kane, whose song "Happy Days" was featured on the Oscar winning film "Hair Love."

“The One,” “How to Do Dat” & “Fade Away,” have each been covered in blogs such as VoyageLA, Youknowigotsoul.com, & Bong Mines Entertainment to name a few. The Brownsuede song “The One” made its major radio station debut on Real 92.3 in Los Angeles and 106.1 KMEL in the Bay Area. Both “The One” & “Fade Away” received support on the NACC Charts, landing in rotation at colleges across the US, peaking at #2 on R&B/Soul Charts at Appalachian State University, #8 at Old Dominion University and #13 at San Antonio College. To date, the debut Brownsuede EP has over a quarter of a million streams on Spotify and has been shared by artists such as Neyo, Eric Benet, Anthony Hamilton and DC Youngfly.

In 2022, Brownsuede released the single, "In My Dreams" which received radio play on iHeart radio, and has amassed over 25,000 streams.

With a distinct LA Sound that brings life to songs that cover topics such as love, social justice and empowerment Brownsuede hopes to uplift and at the same time, give you something that makes you nod your head.
