Bristol based producer Burland has been primarily working with Ghanaian artists making a hybrid sound between Afrobeat, Dancehall and UK Garage & Bass music that heavily features West African vocals & percussion.
His previous collaborations include K.O.G. (Nubiyan Twist, Onipa), Zongo Abongo (The Busy Twist) and Master Drummer Okoe Ashiboi (formerly Kakatsitsi).
A regular on BBC Radio 6, Burland has received support from Gilles Peterson, Jamz Supernova and Toddla T, as well as Madam X, Tash LC and Chloé Robinson over at BBC Radio 1 & 1Xtra.
