Burning Years

This five-piece outfit from Austin, Texas just grows more damn charming every day. Sherman Chase-Taylor (lead vocals), Chris Barnes (drums, vocals), Joey Held (guitar, vocals), Michael Pena (guitar), and Devon Sepeda (bass) bring a handsome presence and an infectious energy to live shows and recorded efforts, with an underlying theme of overcoming pain through hope, inspiration, and knowing that you're not going through life alone. When you can put your arm around someone and sing your heart out, well, that's when life is at its best. Burning Years aims to make music that lets everyone share those amazing experiences.

The band has released four EPs – their newest album, the self-titled Burning Years, dropped in the summer of 2023. It joins the catalog that includes 2014's Pavements, 2016's Coming Clean, and a split with fellow Austin band Locket in 2017. The latest release continues the band's habit of making hard-hitting tunes that hit you right in the feels.
