Byron Sweeney

My name is Byron Sweeney. I'm from Arkansas. I grew up in the Ozark Mountains. I'm from a small town called Mountain View. Mountain View is considered the folk music capital of the world. Naturally, growing up in a town where people gather on the court square in the middle of town every Friday and play music and dance ignited a love for music at a very early age. I was four when I picked up my first guitar. It's kinda funny because that's when my parents realized I was half deaf. The past 35 years I've taken a journey that has made me grow and thrive. It wasn't an easy road. I had many obstacles that I've had to overcome. In spite of everything life has thrown my way, I'm still going. This is just another step of the journey.
