Gary Attwater is a British singer-songwriter from East Sussex, UK, creating emotionally driven acoustic pop music shaped by real life, relationships and personal experience.
Music has been part of Gary’s life for as long as he can remember. Long before releasing his own songs, he was already imagining different lyrics, melodies and emotions inspired by moments in his own life. Those ideas became the catalyst for picking up the guitar and writing songs of his own.
Gary’s music explores love, heartbreak, hope, reflection and loss, combining honest lyrics, warm acoustic arrangements, memorable melodies and expressive vocals. He writes from his home in East Sussex and develops his music with recording studios in Brighton.
Gary has performed several times at The Prince Albert in Brighton, often alongside Elina Ashford, where they perform Part Of Your Life (Duet Version) together. Influenced by Sam Fender, Tim Gallagher, Jamie Grey and Dermot Kennedy, he continues to develop his own distinctive sound.
His releases include the EP Chapters, while Miss You Mostest has become a standout and increasingly popular song in his catalogue. Stubborn Hearts was released on 2 October 2026, with Three-Quarter Zipped following in November and his EP Knowing What I Know Now due on 1 January 2027.
