Chamindu Yashod is a rapper, lyricist and director who finds his passion in introducing new sounds to Hip Hop music. The 23-year-old was born and raised in Colombo, the commercial capital of Sri Lanka, where he recorded his first verse for a mixtape in 2014. By mixing the sound of typical Sinhala rap with various other languages, C Chain identifies himself as a "Sri Lankan Rapper" and not a Sinhala rapper. Mostly known for his greatest hits, Shot 2 and Ginnak, the CMB rapper continues to work his magic on his upcoming singles and other collaborations.
