Wild Skatey

Kaluthara Wedage Roshika Dilshan Fonseka born in 1995 Oct 26, Known professionally by his stage name "Wild Skatey" is a Sri Lankan rapper & a song writer lives in Moratuwa. He started his career since school. He's inspired by sinhala rap artists in Durty 4, Drill team, Nowty coast as well as international artists like MGK, G-Eazy, Lil skies, J Cole. In 2013 he featured to the Drill team cypher & got some attention. Then he worked with 44 Kalliya, LWA, featured Ahasa & Ja Canel. He released his first single "Man Wage" in 2014. Skatey and his friend SD built a team name "MRT Boiz" in 2014 and released a song too. In 2016 He featured to a song of Izzy called "Hithuwakkari". Rapper returned with his 2nd single "MRT" ft MR Bee. He involved with LWA cypher featured Big Harsha, Killer B, Big Doggy, Fill T, BK & many more great rappers in Sri Lanka. Skatey teamed up with "MRT Records" & released a song called " Awa Api Aye" ft DJ Kyty & SD in 2018. In the same year he featured CMBZ'S cypher. " MRT Boiz" returned with "MRT Anthem" which was all about their home town "Moratuwa". In 2019 they released "MRT Cypher". Rapper released his 3rd single "Exta Liyumak" on valentine's day 2020. His 1st EP "Life" ft BEE arrived in September & entered apple music's Hip-Hop chart at number 1. The following October "Life" music video directed by Nick Leoz arrived. "Life" took Skatey into You Tube music's number 17 on trending list Sri Lanka.
