Calixto Oviedo is a Latin Grammy nominated artist (2000 La Rumba del Siglo) and is endorsed
by DW Drums, Gon Bop, Innovative Percussion ,Aquarian Heads and Soultone Cymbals. Calixto has had the
opportunity to play with numerous internationally known artists including Paquito D'Rivera,
Arturo Sandoval, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Chucho Valdes, Danilo Perez and many others with a
career that spans over 38 years.Calixto Just to play with: NG La Banda, Isaac Delgado, Afro Cuban All Stars, Buena Vista Social Club. Calixto is one of the creators of the Cuban timba genre and the one who has contributed most to this new style.
