Formed in 2015, Calvario are a mix of Blackned hardcore, crust and sludge with a female voice. They released their first EP in December 2016. Recorded at Vacuum Studio in Bologna by Enrico Baraldi from the band Ornaments and mastered by James Plotkin, well known for his work with band such as Isis, Saint Vitus, Botch and Sunn O)).
The EP has been completely produced by the band and it’s available on vinyl or digital version on iTunes, Bandcamp, Spotify and Tidal.
Media praised the gloomy, obsessive and rabid sound of the band.
They shared the stage with Oathbreaker, Cancer Bats, Hierophant, Grime as well as many bands from Italy too.
