Born on the outskirts of London, a nomad at heart, Cam Bloomfield spent years travelling the country after an abusive childhood and found his people in every corner and culture, with music as the bridge - from charity projects to basement raves, and stages across the continent.
The release of his debut of a two-part EP 'The Night Before', & the follow-up 'The Morning After', in 2017 & 2019, garnered the support of musical giants such as Elton John, and Cam toured UK & Europe with Ghetts (who was his first ever studio session, while doing A Levels) & Pablo Nouvelle, as well as major festivals across the UK.
As a producer and writer he has worked with the likes of Stormzy, Sampha, Switch (Major Lazer), Chase Atlantic & TianaMajor9. He has also been a musical director for BBC Live Lounge, as well as worked on a number on film soundtracks, including the award-winning short “Viskar I Vinden” by James Newman and recently “Sleep In The Fire” by Todd Tourso (known for his work with Beyonce, Rihanna and N.E.R.D)
'Bipolar Apes' is the first release of his own since The 2019 and this new era of 'Cam' is one that promises to be both powerful and genre-defying at the very least, all definitions and limitations off the table and an unexpected follow-up to what has come before
