Multi-platinum producer Darhyl Camper Jr. was born and raised in Atlantic City, NJ. He is known by his stage name “Camper” and is considered to be the leader of the new school of R&B producers. Camper began playing the piano by the age of 6. He was classically trained for 6 years then began to develop his own sound later on. While attending Oakcrest High School, Camper was traveling to Atlanta, GA on the weekends building his production career one record at a time.
