Cantika Abigail is a singer-songwriter whose musical journey was shaped by a rich tapestry of R&B and pop influences, ignited by the musical legacy of my family.
Her professional journey began in 2008, ultimately leading to a significant milestone when she signed with Sony Music Indonesia in 2009 and became part of the vocal group GAC. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts from Universitas Pelita Harapan, with a major in jazz and pop performance, she delved into a world of jazz, soul, neo-soul, and R&B—a wellspring of inspiration that continues to influence her artistry.
In 2019, her solo career took flight, marked by the release of her first EP, 'ODE TO BLUE', a deeply personal exploration of femininity and the intricate dance between independence and intimate connection. The EP resonates with themes of self-discovery, empowerment, and the nuances of love and partnership. Her dedication to the craft has been recognized through various award nominations and wins, notably securing esteemed accolades such as the Anugerah Musik Indonesia in 2021 & 2022.
Collaborations have been a cornerstone of her musical odyssey, creating and performing alongside talented artists such as Dua Empat, Adrian Khalif, Rayi Putra and GJ.
