With two Irish Music Awards, six studio and two live albums as well as countless performances under their belts, CARA effortlessly navigate the spaces between trad, singer/songwriter, “nu-folk” and acoustic pop. Forced by unforeseen events to pause an otherwise extremely active touring life, CARA have responded to the global pandemic with a thoughtful, philosophical and life-affirming emotional testimony to some big questions in their new 2021 album, “Grounded”. In this, their eighth studio album, CARA celebrate the traditions that truly ground them, the solace that can be found in nature, and the inner strength that we find to cope with life‘s challenges.
