<a href="spotify:artist:3jSx85NA0j4d0WZV9jpTjD" data-name="Cargos">Cargos</a> are a 5-piece indie rock band predominantly from Sheffield. Founded in July 2023, schoolmates Archie Slann (Vocalist) & Zak Clapham (Drummer) picked up their instruments following <a href="spotify:artist:7Ln80lUS6He07XvHI8qqHH" data-name="Arctic Monkeys">Arctic Monkeys</a>’ Hillsborough Park hometown show. Inspiration soon landed them rehearsals together at Spring Tank Studios where they recruited old schoolmate Connor Hill (Rhythm Guitarist). This enabled the chance to add variety and depth to their rehearsals which attracted the online attention of Londoner Jadon Frazer (Bassist). Though situated in London, it became a minor obstacle for the band through chemistry and shared love for 2000s indie-rock that plateaued quickly to the addition of Mackem lad Evan Watson (Lead Guitarist). Formed in October 2025 as a 5-piece band, <a href="spotify:artist:3jSx85NA0j4d0WZV9jpTjD" data-name="Cargos">Cargos</a> came together to record and publish their Debut Single <a href="spotify:track:3BuugTcH71EAc6xnsWkKkD" data-name="Incomplete">Incomplete</a> out now.
