Cartographer is an instrumental rock band from Tilburg, the Netherlands. The band’s sound is firmly rooted in heavier music genres. They draw inspiration from melodic and heavy bands that span decades of musical styles while trying to maintain a sense of wonder and diversity throughout their music. In the fall of 2014 their first full-length album ‘A SEA OF SUNSHINE’ was released and presented in front of a sold-out crowd. On ‘A SEA OF SUNSHINE’ the listener is taken by the hand, drowned in oceans of sonic waves and then left to dry in barren wastelands before being thrown head-first into solid walls of noise.
