CASTILLO

CASTILLO is a musician from Vigo whose artistic journey is defined by authenticity and perseverance. His career began on the streets of Edinburgh in 2014, where he honed his sound as a street performer. Drawing influences from folk and country to 90s grunge, his unique style has captured the attention of both audiences and critics.

In 2023, CASTILLO released his debut album, Let the Moon Kill the Sun.

Now, CASTILLO returns with LISTEN, his second studio album and the most ambitious project of his career.

It was mastered by Ted Jensen, a true legend in the music industry. Jensen’s credits include iconic albums like Hotel California by the Eagles, American Idiot by Green Day, and Come Away With Me by Norah Jones. With 16 Grammys to his name in categories such as Album of the Year and Best Engineered Album.

Recorded at Cruz del Sur Studio and produced by Sergio M. Puga, the album was mixed by Lucas Piedra Cueva, a Latin Grammy-winning sound engineer with two additional nominations for his work with Jorge Drexler.
