Cbakl is an Irish rapper/producer drawing influence from Hip-Hop, jazz, R&B & Soul.
Starting out uploading tracks to SoundCloud aged 15, Cbakl began gaining an organic following online. Cbakl has now progressed to becoming one of Ireland’s most in demand beatmakers, successfully transitioning focus from SoundCloud to Spotify & Apple Music; amassing over 10 million plays across streaming platforms.
2019 saw the August release of his instrumental album 'Wisdom Is Misery'. It marked Cbakl’s self declared most cohesive project to date, gaining impressive streams as well as helping him secure his spot as No. 3 in District Magazine's Top 10 Irish Producers list.
Cbakl finished 2021 strongly, with 2 of his songs featuring on RTE show 'Kin', starring Aiden Gillen (Game of Thrones, Peaky Blinders) & Emmett J. Scanlan (Peaky Blinders, The Fall).
Developing his live set by performing on the BBC alongside Declan O'Rourke, 2023 will be the year Cbakl is solidified as one of the most exciting acts coming out of Ireland.
