Cesare Pizzetti is an Italian bass and double bass player, composer, and educator. A versatile and multifaceted musician, he has explored a wide range of genres throughout his career—from jazz to classical music, from Argentine tango to bossa nova, from rock to pop, from singer-songwriter tradition to hip hop. He has worked extensively as a sideman, an experience that helped him develop a broad and mature musical language. At the same time, he has always cultivated his own original music, enriched by the many different musical worlds he has engaged with. His sonic identity blends lyricism and groove with an ever-curious, constantly evolving artistic vision.
