Challenger is the brain child of vocalist Andrew Price and multi-instrumentalist and
producer Steve Payne. Their musical journey together began over 10 years ago and
they have produced work in multiple genres and projects during that time. Challenger is
their heaviest, most cohesive and guitar driven music to date, seeing the addition of
baritone guitars and influence from ‘90s heavy rock and early 2000s emo.
Andrew and Steve joined forces with Fred Mascherino (Breaking Pangea, Taking Back
Sunday, The Color Fred, and Say Anything) shortly after beginning pre-production on their album, “The Aluminum Hand,” which is out now on Heading East Records.
