Charcoal Greys are an original 5 piece band based in County Tipperary. Their sound is rooted in 90s alt-rock blended with 2000s pop-rock and modern post-punk. They have quickly gained a reputation on the Irish live music scene for their infectious sense of energy and passion on-stage.
Having formed in 2024, the band has performed tirelessly; from local music festivals and band showcases, to support slots around the country. Charcoal Greys released their second single "Muddy Shoes" on September 5th 2025. Having already had its first play for the world on BBC Introducing, the track continues the strong wave of singles preceding the bands first EP, set to launch in 2026.
