Charge The Atlantic is Pete Racine (drums), Patrick Krystman (keys/vocals/guitar), Alex Curnow (guitar), and Kyle Barboza (bass,/vocals). Their sound is what happens when Nashville's southern-fried pop sounds fuse themselves with a classic North Atlantic rock band. More than anything, they're pushing the idea that the idea of a rock band, and a rock show, aren't dead in an era of bedroom pop. They aren't afraid of making pop music with a rock edge -- something that does go back to the era when they learned about music. These are four young men who are products of 90s pop-rock, who wanted to make the music that sounded like what they love.
Three of the four members graduated from the University of Rhode Island with degrees in music, which is to say -- they are now bartending, chasing their dream of becoming a full-time touring rock band.
