Musician & Actor Charlie Petersson had his first international recognition by starring in the feature film ’What Remains’ alongside Oscarnominee Andrea Riseborough. Prior to that he acted in multiple feature films and television series in Scandinavia and internationally. In 2025 he will be starring as one of the biggest villains on this side of the century, playing the real life person of Sebastian Greenwood in the tv series ’Take The Money And Run’ based on the true story of the One Coin scandal expected to be released on multiple streamers world wide.
It was in 2022 when SVT (Swedish Television) released his self produced music documentary ’Street Tunes’ that launched his music career. After that he was taken under the wings of the international music manager <a href="spotify:artist:3ryxWdeqkRuZDuAkJRBPAR" data-name="Brinkenstjärna">Brinkenstjärna</a> . Petersson quickly became one of Sweden’s most sought after live cover artists, with over 200 live shows all over Sweden between june 2022-August 2024.
As of the autumn of 2024 he got signed by Iconic music - a label under Warner Music Sweden and released his first single with his new sound with the song ’IMPERFECTION’ in October 2024 which got placed as a Spotify Official New Music Friday on the day of its release.
Petersson’s debut album ’MILLENNIALISTIC’ was released on April 25th, 2025. Produced by <a href="spotify:artist:1IhdgmSq153pBV9H0LzjYV" data-name="Mats Björke">Mats Björke</a> from the international rock band Mando Diao and co-produced and mixed by <a href="spotify:artist:5zhkHIoWMbSWAS6TXiFtyx" data-name="Måns Billner">Måns Billner</a>; one of Sweden’s most unpolished diamonds and hidden gems.
