Marcus Carey is a passionate upfront performer. Being gifted a guitar from his father at age 11, Marcus began his pursuit of song writing almost immediately. Diving head first into rock and roll and heavy metal in his teens, he honed his skills on the guitar by playing lead in several bands. As the years progressed so did his taste for deeper more intimate connections to the music he was writing. Finding a love for blues and folk, Marcus Carey turned his sights more inward and began to focus more intently on the acoustic guitar. Finding his voice at age 21, a whole new perspective on songwriting became apparent and without delay had begun carving out his own sound. Marcus Carey is truly one to keep your eye on.
