Cheap Dinosaurs

Cheap dinosaurs is an instrumental, psychedelic rock band with hints of video game textures and motifs. The audio-visual experience combines pop melodies with jagged rusty rhythms, circuit bent sounds and dirty synthesizer leads. Well known for their covers of video game music and stand alone soundtracks, band leader Dino Lionetti is at the forefront of composing. Dino has worked on the game River City Ransom Underground as well as other game soundtracks. Bassist Paul Weinstien is a sound composer for Cleaversoft and has had years of experience composing on his Gameboy. Guitarist Joey Michalina Mariano is well known for her nmlstyl project, the 8bit foot controller modification, and a multitude of chip music albums. Kevin Ragone holds it all together with precise rhythmic accuracy. The band has released seven albums to date.
