Declaring themselves to be a chaotic synthesis of Naked City, <a href="spotify:artist:2zq0uqN9Wq12tqrQQt1ozw">Mr. Bungle</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6aVjo0xHSiuW5hkasoYSR3">Melvins</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0U06WlIl1leJMEHBf7WAwR">Harvey Milk</a>, et al., Leeds, England's metal/punk/chaos hybrid outfit Chickenhawk formed in 2004. The quartet earned some rapid attention for their relentless sound and transfixing rhythm section with their self-released debut demo in 2005. A split release with I Breathe Spears and With Scissors followed a year later. 2007 would find Chickenhawk fully ensconced in the studio, recording and producing tracks for what would end up being their debut full-length, God Helmet, which saw release in 2008 on Sound Devastation. ~ Chris True, Rovi
