A hard rock outfit hailing from Leeds, England, the Plight -- Allistair Mancreaf (vocals), Lewis Pugh (guitar), Richard Storrow (guitar), Sean Loughlan (bass), and John Defenzi (drums) -- formed in 2004. The band quickly released a demo, and signed to Thirty Days of Night. A seven-track EP followed, and the band embarked on a nationwide tour with Gallows. Eventually, the Plight signed with Visible Noise, and the band released the Black Summer EP in late 2007. The Plight had a busy year in 2008, undertaking another U.K. tour -- this time with Poison the Well -- in addition to writing and recording their full-length debut, entitled Winds of Osiris and scheduled for release in October 2009. ~ Chris True, Rovi
