Chinna

Hailing from Gurdaspur, Punjab and raised in Canada, Chinna is quickly becoming one of the most exciting new voices in Punjabi rap.

Chinna began making music in 2020, his early work caught the attention of tastemakers across the scene, and in 2024, Chinna was officially signed to Collab Creations, the powerhouse label known for developing breakout stars, under the guidance of acclaimed producer Manni Sandhu.

His debut single after signing, Rumours — produced by Manni Sandhu and featuring vocals from Gurlez Akhtar — became an instant smash, racking up nearly 10 million streams on Spotify and solidifying Chinna’s place in the new wave of Punjabi talent.

Following a string of successful singles, Chinna released his long-awaited debut album, ‘A Kid From Gurdaspur’, in January 2025. Led by the standout track Ryde or Die, which has already surpassed 7 million streams, the project showcases his lyrical depth, personal storytelling, and ability to push creative boundaries.

Known for his sharp writing, fresh concepts, and ability to blend hard-hitting themes with moments of clever humour, Chinna stands out as a true original.
