Chook comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience; having made a name for himself in the world of techno influenced drum and bass. His label, Full Force Recordings, that he started in 2004, garnered support right from the off with DJs as diverse as Roni Size, J Majik, Calyx and Teebee all queing up to work the label's releases into their sets. He went on to play all over Europe, Russia, Australia and New Zealand
In 2012, Chook embarked on an inspiring collaboration as a co-founder of the band Monophona, joining forces with the talented singer-songwriter Claudine Muno and percussionist Jorsch Kass. Together, they blend Chook's deep, edgy electronic roots with the tender nuances of folk and acoustic sensibilities, resulting in a unique fusion of genres. Their third album, released in autumn 2017, stands as a testament to their creative prowess. Their captivating live shows have enthralled audiences at renowned festivals such as Sziget and Fusion, captivating audiences throughout Europe and beyond
At the same time he’s been releasing progressive house and melodic techno on labels such as Perspectives digital, MNL, Mango alley, Beat boutique. Gaining support by the likes of Quivver, Eelke Kleijn, Darin Epsilon, Stan Kolev, Beatamines.
