Chris Ballew grew up in Seattle Washington and started making music at the age of 4. Eventually, after many twists and turns, Chris ended up being the singer and songwriter for the multi platinum rock and roll band "The Presidents of the United States of America" in 1994. After some more detours and side roads Chris began making music for kids aged 0 to 6 amd their parents in 2009 under the name Caspar Babypants. After making 18 records in 10 years as Caspar Babypants he began a new project under the name Chris Ballew. The new music is acoustic and psychadelic and fuzzy and loopy and abstract and cosmic and comforting and distorted. The debut album under this new umbrella of sound is called :I Am Not Me" and comes out 7/23/21.
