Chris Jon

Chris Jon is a French-Thai singer-songwriter. Born in Paris, he moved to Bangkok, Thailand at the age of ten where he grew up and now lives. Born into a musical family and to a father who is an entertainer singer, he embraced his innate musical talent from an early age. He started creating music at the age of thirteen, later to realise music would be the life path for him to follow exclusively. His music style is influenced by RnB, soul, rap, rock, jazz, pop and world music. Chris Jon is the former lead singer of the Thai band Shining Star, which he released one album with. He has also collaborated with and performed with several of Thailands biggest artists such as Boyd Kosiyabong, who is his mentor and Two Popetorn. Chris Jon is a very experienced artist with a wide range of abilities. He is a spirited individual with a unique personality who is grateful for everything life has taught him, positive and negative, which shapes who he is today, his vision and his path forward. Chris Jon is now releasing his first solo album "Soul for Sale", created during a time of questioning different facets of life. He is dedicated to use his individuality in the creation of music he says comes from his soul, through every single note, lyric and melody - in every sound on this album. Chris Jon sees music as a powerful tool, and in the creation of it comes great responsibility. With his music he wishes to bring inspiration to the world in these troubled times facing humanity.
