Christopher "Michael" Sjostrom first began his songwriting journey in 2009. Growing up in Marshall, TX he was deeply rooted in the small town life. In 2011 Chris moved to Dallas, TX to study Songwriting at Dallas Baptist University. There he began performing around Texas and continued to grow his catalogue of music in which he would later release ("Texas in Me" - EP 2014), ("Party On" - Single 2015) and ("Chris Michael" Debut Album 2016). In 2020, Chris rebranded his sound and began recording new music with Prime Cut Studio in Nashville, TN. In early 2021 Chris released his debut Single, "Danger" featuring his unique ability to incorporate R&B/Pop elements into the Country music genre influenced by his small town upbringing and urban city life. Chris's sound and musical style of Country/Pop fusion has set him apart as an artist and has connected him with fans from both genres of music. More music is scheduled to release this year.
