When Waylon Jennings wrote the timeless lyrics, “I’ve always been crazy, but it’s kept me from going insane,” he must have been prophesying the emergence of singer/songwriter Christian Parker. Raised in the Arkansas River Valley, the Fort Smith native has always had a passion for creating and sharing music. His debut album, Debutante, showcases a multi-faceted talent in its variety and depth of country music. From hard-hitting southern rock like “Dixie Soul,” to the mellow Blues Country of “How to Heal a Broken Heart” as well as the commercial country song, “I’ve Been Alive,” Debutante is sure to appeal to any country enthusiast.
Christian honed his skills as a multi-instrumentalist, earning All-State honors in both the Tuba and Jazz Guitar. His passion for performing started at a young age with piano recitals but quickly evolved into a variety of public displays.
An accomplished academician, Christian attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas where he triple-majored in Economics, Public Policy, and Political Science. While at SMU, Christian was active in a number of organizations, including the Mustang Band.
Aside from his passion for serving the communities he’s a part of, Christian simply loves to make people smile. Always ready to crack a joke, he is a true, bonafide entertainer. Ready to make his mark in the music industry, Christian is ready to run the race of Nashville, and won’t give up until the world knows his name.
