Christine's passion for music first ignited in 2002, the moment she heard Avril Lavigne's Complicated. Instantly hooked, she picked up a guitar and started writing songs of her own. Too shy to make them public, she initially sent her songs to friends over AIM. When the feedback was good, she knew she was onto something.
She’s been chasing that feeling ever since. After years navigating the music world as a solo artist, Christine hit the road as a touring member of the band Now, Now in 2009, traveling and opening for acts like Paramore. But in 2012, craving creative freedom and a change of scenery, she packed up her guitar, a 25-key MIDI controller, and a head full of daydreams and drove solo to San Diego.
There, sunshine and solitude sparked her debut solo album The Math Project, a blend of acoustic textures and synth-pop energy shaped by West Coast vibes and late-night introspection. Since then, her sound has kept evolving, fueled by heartbreaks, imagined scenarios, and dreams of the future.
From the raw emotion of Sediments to the rhythmic drive of Coda, Christine blends introspective lyrics, distinct vocals, and beat-driven melodies into a sound that’s both personal and cinematic. Whether it’s a solo cry-session or a windows-down joyride, her songs meet you where you are. Her latest single, Catch My Breath, offers just a glimpse of what’s ahead.
