Sydni Budelier is a jazz influenced indie pop singer songwriter from the United States. She writes from the point of view of having chased careers and romantic infatuations across the country from Phoenix, to NYC, San Francisco, and Chicago. She’s an abuse survivor, a mental health advocate, a storyteller with an English/creative writing degree from Arizona State University, and her songs reflect a nuanced perspective on reconciliation, forgiveness, and escapism.
Before her corporate career took a back seat to her music and songwriting, she edited copy for NYLON magazine, sold vintage garb on Haight Street, and served as the communications director of suicide prevention non-profit, Hope For The Day.
Much like her wide array of life experiences, her music offers a sweeping range of sonic landscapes that transport listeners back to their own long lost memories of childhood, the moment they abandoned an ambition, lost a friend, or chose themselves over the thing keeping them small. Her debut album is an adult’s coming-of-age story for anyone who’s lived through set-backs and needed to empower themself.
