CHRISTOPHER TYNG is an American musician, songwriter, producer, composer, and technologist. He holds numerous awards from BMI & SESAC; two OFTA nominations and a win for best TV theme (Futurama).
As a composer of original scores for television and film, Tyng’s highlights range from the electronic and neo-soul music on the USA Network series (and record-breaking Netflix hit) SUITS, as well as the follow-ups SUITS LA and PEARSON; the moody score for the Golden Globe nominated drama RESCUE ME; the indie-band influenced score for the genre-defining FOX series THE OC; and the space-age retro-electronica theme and live orchestral score for Matt Groening’s Emmy award-winning FUTURAMA.
Tyng performs live cinematic electronica under his alter-ego ARKITXT and is the Creative Director and Executive Producer for large-scale immersive music and visual events under his production banner IMMERXION.
