From Monasterevin, Co. Kildare , Cillian Brennan is a 16-year-old singer-songwriter quickly gaining recognition for his poignant songwriting and soulful performances. Cillian performed at the Electric Picnic Hazelwood Stage in 2025 at 14 years of age having won this opportunity in a competition held by Youth Work Ireland Laois. In 2025 he won a busking competition with Buskaphonic in Wexford and the prize was a recording of a song in Orchard Studios in Enniscorthy which inspired Cillian to compose his own music. He recently performed with George Murphy and the Rising Sons in the Moat Theatre in Naas. He also participated in Today FM’s Big Busk for the Charity Focus Ireland. Cillian enjoys busking on Grafton Street.
