Dàwna (taken from the Irish word ‘Dána’ meaning ‘bold’) is a folk/ pop artist from Tipperary.
Dàwna’s debut EP, ‘The MYTHOLOGY EP’ hit number 1 on the Irish Chart in 2023.
Dàwna has opened for major artists/ bands like Gavin James, The Coronas, Hermitage Green, Darren Kiely, The Blizzards, Mundy, Susan O Neill, Ryan Sheridan, Labyrinth and Shawaddywaddy.
The Irish Times named him as ‘One to Watch’ in 2024, and his second, folk inspired EP ‘The Swallows EP’ is set to release in October 2025; ‘Blue & Gold’, ‘Mo Chailín Mo Chroí’
& ‘Swallows’ being the first 3 songs already released from the EP.
