Cinnamon Gum is the stage name of Maciej Milewski (Cinnamon Guy) – a vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and producer based in Gdańsk, Poland.
Growing up in Poland, Milewski’s father played saxophone in a big band on a cruise ship, making transatlantic journeys across the Caribbean. With each voyage, young Maciej eagerly awaited his father’s return, knowing he’d bring back treasures that were nearly impossible to find in Poland at the time, namely cinnamon-flavored chewing gum and soul music CDs.

These small gifts planted the seeds of Milewski’s lifelong passion for funk and soul music.
Today, Cinnamon Gum’s distinctive voice has made him one of the most in-demand soul performer in Poland, captivating audiences nationwide with his dynamic live band (featuring Maciej on Guitar and Vocals, Dorothy and Renee on Background Vocals, Tommy Jr on Keys, Ignacio on Percussion, Stan on Drums, Tony on Bass and Al Jacob behind the sound boards).

His breakout 2024 album, The Cinnamon Show, caught the attention of That’s Love Records co-founder Alejandro Garcia (<a href="spotify:artist:0oK5D6uPhGu4Jk2dbZfodU" data-name="Thee Sacred Souls">Thee Sacred Souls</a>) and <a href="spotify:artist:5DbrQHRmMsVz8YtsDqmOrq" data-name="Max Shrager">Max Shrager</a> who was intrigued by the possibility of including him on the new label’s roster.
