For a brand-new band, Citrus Daze boast an astonishingly confident sound and songwriting ability. The Gold Coast five-piece burst onto the scene in late 2019 with their captivating debut single ‘Blue Summer’ sound-tracking every summer romance you’ve ever lived through, real or imagined. It’s prodding opening bass-line, floating guitar notes, hazy synthesisers, and lead singer Chloe's subtly-hushed, romantic vocal delivery combining to create a colourful collage of dream-pop and soft indie-rock.
Consisting of members all ranging in age from 19-21, they aptly met during music degree studies on the Gold Coast, taking the lessons they learned in the classroom and applying a DIY approach to their recording and mixing at home.
